Problems Facing the Textile Industry of Borujerd

صنعت نساجی بروجردLike other companies in the textile industry, the textile sector of Borujerd has faced numerous challenges related to a lack of strategic planning. One of the major issues is the difficulty in selling its products, which stems from a lack of proper marketing and a clear understanding of the market. Another problem is the influx of low-quality products from neighboring countries at competitive prices. The market dominance of these imported goods has significantly reduced the share of domestic producers. A lack of investment continues to harm the company, with insufficient capital injections preventing the modernization of machinery. This negatively impacts both production and product quality. The country’s sanctions, price fluctuations, and raw material shortages also affect production.

Other challenges include a lack of innovation and a decrease in competitiveness. The company also faces a shortage of skilled labor, a lack of interest in the profession, and unresolved issues related to workers and those employed in the sector. Lastly, changing customer preferences, particularly among the youth, present a challenge. Rapid shifts in consumer taste can create difficulties for textile companies. The only solution to this is for producers to adapt quickly and maintain high flexibility in response to these trends.
